Hi,
We have a requirement to monitor thermocouples from several ovens at once that would all be running separate jobs. I know that we can collect data from multiple TC-08 units into one PC, but my question is - can we collect separate data files simultaneously?
i.e. can one person start collecting data from 4 thermocouples in one oven, and then a few hours later (whilst job 1 is still collecting) can another person start collecting data from another set of thermocouples?
From what I can work out, it looks like all the inputs are collected into one large data file and then we'd have to select what we wanted out of that?
If it is possible to collect separately - is there a limit as to the number of simultaneous files that can be collected?
thanks for your help,
Geoff. |

Hi and thank you for your post.
You can achieve this , you would have to run two instances of PicoLog one for each logger, instructions for this can be found in the user manual page, 18 under section 3.12 (Run Multiple Recorders).
