Good day to you all guys,
I have just bought the below stuff by means of our local sub agent in my country for our data center ( Server room ).
EL030 TEMP/HUMIDITY SENSOR
EL026 TEMP/HUMIDITY CONVERTOR
EL005 RS232 DATA LOGGER
WESTERMO GW-11 GSM MODEM.
Well, I manage to configuar and run localy tempreture and humidity data and that work wonderful. My second demand that I need to configuar these devices to alert me by sms once the tempreture gone above the given level i.ie 27c ..etc. The alarm working great but I need the alert go through the GSM modem to a dedicated people via sms notifcation.
Your usefull response will be very appreciated.
Thank you. |

Ziko,
Thank you very much for that prompt and clarifications.
I have done my connections, things gone very well. I can display and manage my tempreture and humidity data. I setup an alarm also to work for the certain high level tempreture. But I am still unable to send an SMS msg from the logger by means of the GW-11 modem if there an alert on high tempreture. I couldnt programm that so far. Please advise your hints.
P.S GW-11 modem was recommanded by Pico agent in my country to be used for sms escalation process.
Thank you. |

Hi the baud rate of the logger has to match the baud rate of the GSM modem. Contact your manufacturer to see what the default baud rate is and how to change it.
Kind regards
