I have recently "upgraded" some budget microphone preamplifiers and
swapped the audio opamps which were JRC4558D opamps to
Analog Devices OP275GP

I have heard some people suggest that some opamps may lose stability depending on the circuit they are installed in.

I was wondering if the cheapest handheld PICO oscilloscope would identify
any oscillations within the newly installed I.C.s

Many Thanks.

Hi and thank you for your email, I do not know to much about these amplifiers and about losing stability. However what I can say is that the 2104 and 2105 have the capability of measuring relatively fast signals. Taking the base model 2104 for example, it has an analogue bandwidth of 10MHz and can sample at up to 50MS/s. so it can measure signals that are in MHz.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
