Does the picoscope software behave like a real osci with a rolling graph for sample rates the USB can deal with?

Hi and thank you for your post.

Could you explain further your question, what kind of frequency are you talking about ?

Kind regards

I would like to see something on the screen right after the trigger and don't want to wait until the memory is full - as like on a real scope. My sampling rates are about 1-100kHz (or even less). I read that Cleverscope does not support this, so I was wondering if any usb osci is able.

Hi currently the only product this can be achieved with is the 5000 series scopes as in PicoScope 6 it supports fast streaming.

In all our other products they use PicoScope 5 which on time bases of 200ms or slower operate in standard streaming mode, which is 1kS/s. In terms of hardware the 3224, 3223, 3424 and 3423 are the only other products that can support fast streaming, however to use this functionality you would have to write your own software.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
