I would like to plot RMS voltage of Main Line in time basis. How can I get this feature in Real Time?

Thanks and best Regards,

Hi Naing

Thank you for your post.
If you are referring to measuring Mains voltage, as supplied to a domestic property, you must use a differential isolating probe such as in our accesory range here:
http://accessories.picotech.com/oscilloscope_probes.html

Use Picolog, to be able to plot voltage over time.

If you need further information, please come back to us.

Hi,

1). Ya, I want to measure AC main line voltage. Moreover I also want to see the RMS voltage line in Time scale (RMS Vs. Time). I want to use rms line as trigger and want to see graph after triggerred. Do you have any Idea for this case?
2). Where can I see the example program for PicoScope 5203?
3). How can I change X axis range of Spectrum Graph in PicoScope6? Even in the latest version of PicoScope 6.0.8, I cannot change Frequency range.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Naing.

Hi,

1) In terms of RMS, I have answered your other post but just to make sure, if you wish to meausre an input voltage that is in rms form then that is no problem, if however you want to convert the input signal into an rms form then you cannot do this, our equipment is a measurement tool and as such does not manipulate an input signal.

2)The examples codes for the 520x have not yet been released, however this will be out soon.

3)You can achieve this in a number of ways, by changing your time base or zooming.

Hope this answers your questions.

Kind regards
