|
|
I'm using the ADC-10 Product in conjunction with a standard oscilloscope probe and testing it off the test signal from the oscilloscope. The signal generated should be a 5V square wave but I'm only getting a ~100mV signal reading. I tested the signal on the oscilloscope and it was fine!
I also tried testing a 5v DC signal but again, I only got ~100mV.
In the help file it says the settings can be changed to accomodate *10 Probes in the settings menu but this is not the case for this product.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Thanks for your time,
Tony |

Hi,
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem.
The reason that you are getting incorrect results is that the ADC-10 only has a 200kOhm input impedence. Therefore the input impedance and the potential divider of the x10 probe is dragging the voltage down.
Unfortunately, you can not use a x10 probe with this product.
Best regards, |
