My question are which model is suitable for this task and do I need to have the unit calibrated .

Hi,
Thank you for your request with regards to our products.
The units that are most appropriate for TV testing is the ADC-212 series and ADC-200 series. The unit that is required will depend on the highest signal that you anticipate measuring.
I would advise you look at the specifications for the above adn contact me again with any other questions you have.

How about the new model 3204 ( only 8bit ) . Do I need 12 bit ? or this model is good enough to handle the tuner frequencies ?

Hi,
Thank you for your enquiry. The PicoScope 3204 should be capable of handling those frequencies and 8 bits is definitely enough.

You're great. Look like 3204 is my new toy or this summer.
One last question, Do I have this 3204 calibrate ?

Hi,
The 3204 will already come calibrated However if you want a calibration certificate this will cost you extra.
