|
|
The frequency generated by the AWG feature of my PicoScope 2203 is high.
Sine wave 250mV
10kHz outputs 10.0767kHz
100kHz outputs 100.767kHz
Is there any way I can adjust it?
Thanks |

Hello Bob,
You may edit the AWG frequency to three decimal places by over typing the preset value.
e.g. 9.923 Khz.

Thank you for the response. I think what you are saying is that I can't adjust the device itself to output the correct frequency i.e. 1kHz in the drop-down outputs 1kHz.
However, I can change the frequency in the drop-down until the actual output is correct.
If this is the case then may I suggest that a facility to add a correction factor to the frequency would be a useful addition to the program. This would enable a one-time calibration of the frequency and avoid having to enter different figures each time.

Hello Bob,
I can see the appeal of the feature that you would like, but then, the PicoScope 2203 would be a considerably more expensive product.
From your figures, the AWG is achieving better than 1% frequency accuracy, which is quite amazing from a highly featured product at this price!
