Use of more than one PT-104 converters

I have been experiencing problems in connecting more than one PT-104 converters to my computer. When I connect one PT-104 either directly by the serial port or the USB232 converter the PicoLog works fine and records the temperature readings. But when I choose "use multiple converters" and continue with the configuration, the software locates the PT-104 converters but the temperature readings from all converters are '******'.
I there anything I can do?
