pt104 minus readings

I have been using Pt104 convertors with pt100 probes for about 12 months. Nearly every convertor has had a faulty channel that seems to read as a minus temperature.
What is causing this error as it is extremley frustrating?
Please help!!!!

Hi, was it ok before? If so do did you do anything different that might have caused it to do this?

Could you tell me exactly how you are doing your experiment and what, if anything is different from your previous set up.
