I have ADC - 16 PICO data logger connected to BF2 beam load cell. I need to have my computer at a distance of 50 to 100 metres from the load cell. can anyone advice the best way of doing this ??

Hi and thank you for your post.
If you do a search on serial port extenders there are numerous companies that provide a solution, we have not tried any of them and as such cannot say if they will or won't work. If you contact the vendor they may be able to offer you a "sale or return", so you can trial the product.
Let me know how you get on.
Kind regards |

| Please can you let me know what is the maximum recommended distance I can go with ADC-16 data logger which is connected to a strain gauge. That is; the maximum distance between strain gauge and the data logger |

HI,
We provide a 1 meter cable and have not tested it on longer cables as I said before depending on your distance you may wish to invest in a serial port extender.
Kind regards |
