Picoscope 5000 series

Hello,
It is not really clear from the specifications if the 5000 series scopes require power from the (included) AC adapter or if they are capable of being powered soley from the USB connection.
If they can be powered soley from the USB connection, is there a reduction in performance (i.e. sampling rate)?

Hi,

The PicoScope 5000 series require power at all times. The high sampling rate / bandwidth and memory depth of the product means that they require far more power than the USB port can supply.

As you mention an AC adapter is included.
