Is it possible to measure the length of non-periodic pulse (0V-5V-0V, 1 ms length) ?
You can verify this problem with the built-in signal generator, 1kHz square pulse and the Scope-setup:
Settings/Measurements/chA: High pulse width,between cursors.
Measurement-Options/Statistics: Current Value + Average
It seems that the cursors must cover not only the high part of a pulse ("not enough data"), but also a small part of a next pulse is necessary to activate the correct measurement of the current and average values.
Best regards, Karl
BTW: the display of the measurements at bottom of the screen ist badly truncated "chA: High pulse width,X t..." |
