Q-1
I want to measure frequency & amplitude of a pulse having width of 13msec and time interval between two pulses is 1.7sec. The frequency of the pulse is 9.5kHz.
Q-2
Can we use ADC-212 to record and analyze the pulse train?
Thanks

Thank you for the post Dr Asim,
I have moved this topic to the Pre-Sales Advice section since this is more appropriate.
The ADC-212/100 will meet your requirements:
The Analogue bandwidth of the ADC-212/100 is 50Mhz (you only need 10kHz).
In order to achieve the 1.7 second interval time we will need to work out the memory buffer's download time. The memory buffer can download at a rate of 60,000 Samples per second. Therefore we can take no more than 1.5 x 60,000 = 90,000 Samples over the 13 ms period (equates to approx. 7M Samples per second).
In short, this will be no problem for the ADC-212/100.
Best Regards, |
