Today I borrowed a DrDaQ logger and tried to install the latest software. On laptops it impossible to install the software, I had to switch to a desktop. The scop programm makes my mouse movements very slow and inaccurate. Futhermore the registration of temperature (external device) is slow and not correct (I expect icewater to be 0 celcius), so how can I calibrate this? The same question for pH. And can I read the pH in terms potential? OK, a lot of question, but before I buy a lot of these things I must be sure they can do the job.

Hello,
What OS does the laptop use? Win98 machines will respond faster. XP employs more software layers taking more processing time for parallel port devices.
A USB parallel port adapter will help the data transfer. Further information can be found here:
