assertion failed

We have been using picoscope (2000 series on Win XP) at our lab for a while now. One day, I receive the following error message on start-up of Pico recorder:

Assertion failed: calc-ptr->equation_ptr !=NULL, file calcparm.c, line 495

I tried to update my software. I then am now receiving the following error message on start-up:

Assertion failed:
Program: C:\PICO\plw32.exe
File: .\CALCPARM.cpp
Line: 599
Expression: calc-ptr->equation_ptr !=NULL

How do I solve this problem? Any help would be appreciated!

Hello,

May I suggest installing the latest version of our software. A re-install may just correct the problem.
