|
|
Greetings all. I'm writing a macro (VBA) in Excel 2000, win98se. The macro will use the adc11 to collect data. Crashes during runs of the macro (including debugging) are not uncommon. Then I see msg "Excel This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down". When I acknowledge (click on Close), Excel and the macro shut down. But the adc remains on, ie the LED thereon remains on. It is not possible to restart Excel and again run the macro, even if I have disconnected the adc11, then reconnected; instead, when I again try to run the macro, or to run PicoLog, there is the same msg or other hangup.
In general, I can again run the Excel macro, or PicoLog, only after a restart. Is there some way of resetting the usb adc11 and/or windows' related setup without restart, so that the Excel macro, or PicoLog, will again be able to open the adc11?
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi and thank you for your post.
I do not quite understand the problem. Could you try running the following macro in the attached file.
Kind regards
