How do I enter calibration data into Picolog?
Creating a single scaling file will allow calibration data to be applied to each channel on products such as the TC-08, PT-104 and RH-02.The following example shows how calibration data drawn from a calibration certificate for a TC08 should be saved into a scaling file with the extension '.scl' (e.g. TC-08cal.scl):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes= Calibration data for TC-08 SN# ABC12/345 valid until 11/May/2009
Type=Table
Units=°C
-100 -100.07
-50 -49.88
-10 -10.02
0 0.09
50 50.04
100 99.93
200 200.06
400 400.33
600 600.65
800 800.95
1000 1001.31
1200 1201.60

In the above example, the input value is on the left and the calibrated value on the right.
When setting up your measurements from within the window labelled "TC08 channels", click on "edit" to display the window labelled "Edit TC08 Channel".
Enter the channel name and thermocouple type (or sensor), and then click on "Options" and then on "Scaling" in the "Parameter options" Window.
Select "Use Scaling from file" for the "Scaling method" and then click on "File..." to navigate to the scaling file "TC-08cal.scl".
Click "OK" to get back to the "TC08 channels" window and apply the calibration data to another channel.
