We are using the TC-08 hooked up to a laptop to monitor temperatures inside a fire training simulator. We are using 6 of the 8 channels and every time we start up the laptop we have to set up the channels including the type of thermocouple etc. The is very irritating, is there any way we can set the software to default to the previously used settings so we can just name the file and get on with the session. The laptop is using windows NT. Any help greatly received.
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems.
Once you have set up the channels, do the following:
File | Save As
Change the 'Save file as type' from data to settings file .pls, give the file a name. The next time you want to use the same settings open the settings file.
