Hi,
The products that we produce cannot be used directly as a Gamma Spectrometer, but if you can source a sensor that can provide a single ended output or 4-20mA output that can then be scaled to the relevant units then it would be possible.

Tks Mark - I would be using a Scintillation detector. May I pose a second ?
How easy would it be to modify the data log software to display as a gamma spectrum? |

Hi,
To convert the data from a 4-20mA reading there are two basic methods, to use a look up file which it usually provided by the manufacturer of the sensor, or to us an equation. Both are relatively simple, download the help manual for Picolog and have a look under scaling.
