FFT Sample size in Picoscope

Hi,
I want to measure harmonics and interharmonics using Picoscope and ADC-216.
I want to know what sample size does Picoscope choose to perform FFT calculations? How can I vary the sample size using Picoscope options?

Hi,

The number of samples that are used by Picoscope is dependent on the number of FFT points chosen. The number of samples is twice the FFT points requested. This is not changable.

The number of FFT points however can be change with : 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 FFT points being available.

To select a different number of FFT points open a Spectrum Viewer.

Setting|Options

In the Number of spectrum bands slect the number you want form the dropdown box.
