Hi this is a scope of a crank and pump output signal. can anyone tell me if it is the correct signal or is the pump timming 'floating' around?
I suspect the pump being faulty or the cam chain is slack. Please check out the download

Hi,
I think you are looking in the wrong area, the two signals are not related at all apart from being about the same frequency, it is the injection pulses that should be related to the cam sensor.

Hi,
If you suspect a slack timing chain, perhaps comparing the cam and crank sensors may show some wandering in their relationship.
Regards,
Matt
