USB to Parallel port adapter (PP196)

Hello,
when using the PP196 adapter, with a 212/3 oscilloscope, I must continue to use the external power supply or is it supplied through the USB adapter?

Claudio,

You must continue to use the external power supply. The USB adapter does not power the unit.
