Can you tell me what product would best suit my needs for measuring the fringe count of a Michaelson Interferometer setup with a HeNe (632nm) laser.

I need to have a sensor (photoresistor) or similar, and be able to test for deflection of a holography table, and or optical boards.

Can your software log how many fringes that have passed by the sensor over a period of time?

Can I measure different wavelengths of laser light over time?

Can your software also "save" captured signals to be "played" back or viewed at a later time?

Hi,

The product that you need would be dependant on your frequency bandwidth. If you know this then multiply it by 8 for an oversample factor and the ability to get FFT. This is the link to our oscilloscope units:

We don not sell photoresistor sensors and you will have to source these yourself, try www.farnell.com.

Our software does not have the facility to count fringes.
To measure different laser lights you would need a unit that can measure the highest frequency.

The software can measure and save a trace for viewing later. You are only able to save the trace on screen.
