Hello
I just wanted to ask whether it's possible to generate an FM or AM signal with the AWG with the 5204 scope? All I'd need would be say a tone modulated waveform in either case. A second question is what is the highest possible sinewave frequency with the AWG. Another words could I FM modulate to 10 MHz for example?
Thanks for any info you can give.

Hi and thank you for your post.
The AWG can store 8192 samples that are 12 bits, it has a sampling rate of 125MS/s (although to get any kind of decent signal we recommend sampling 5 times quicker ). Another thing to take into account is that the signal will be repetitive.
We have a sine wave form generator that goes up to 20MHz.
Hope this hels |
