In PicoScope R5.x "Save as" offered the possibillity to save a scope trace as txt and "Édit->Copy as text" would save the current screen depending of zoom factor and probe scaling to the clipboard.
In R6 it seems that it is always the current trace that are either saved or copied to clipboard and the probe scaling and zoom factor are NOT taken into consideration.
I would very much like to be able to save all traces as txt, save the current trace as txt and copy the current view to the clipboard. It would be preferable if this could be done using the same scaling (voltage and time) as in R5 and that zoom and probe information ard actually used when copying to clipboard.

Hi and thank you for your post.
Unfortunately, since the software is still in an early stage of development, only very simple data export features exist, and they will not always allow post-processing of the entire data-set or scaling in the method that you might prefer. This will all be possible in future (we have plans for a very flexible data export system), but we can't give timescales at this stage. PicoScope 5.x can still be used for this purpose until PicoScope 6 implements these features.
Kind regards |

Hi Forum,
Is there any update to this? I am unable to save using V6 also. It is now nearly a year later, however.
Best regards,
Mike

Hi ServoTech,
Yes you now can save the current waveform as .txt, .csv and .mat file, also the limit has been extended to 1Million points.
Hope this helps. |
