| I have used the ADC-11 with a laptops running Windows 2000 and a Quatech SPP-100 PCMCIA to Parallel port adapter with no problems. I have tried several times to run this same configuration with Windows XP and can not make it work. The error is the same cannot find pico.sys V4.3. Do you have any ideas? |

Hi
Thank you for your post.
What does the error say exactly? Is it that the sys file isn't found or that the sys file cannot find the unit? Which software is giving the error?
What mode is the parallel port set to? Is this something you can change?
Let me know how you get on.
Best Regards |

I am currently using PicoLog for Windows Version 5.14.6 but I have used Version 5.04.7 for a few of years. When I switch to Windows XP and got the error I up graded my PicoLog S/W to the latest version on your web site.
The error occurs during set up of the logger under converter details, when I select ADC-11 (Parallel Port) and Port LPT1 and click OK the Device status dialog box appears with the following:
ADC11/22 Driver V4.3
pico.sys not found
I am not sure of the mode selection details but I do have the adapter set up as LPT1, use no interrupts, and legacy plug & play enabled with the latest drivers installed from the adapter manufacturer. |

Hi and thank you for your post.
I would recommend downloading our latest software. I would also remove the old software completely before re-installing the new one. Let me know how you get on.
Kind regards |
