There does not appear to be a command line function for PLW32 to open a data file in player mode (-P).
Associating .plw with PLW32.exe causes it to open in recorder mode. Editing the registry (to add the -P) I am able to get it to open in player mode, but it won't read a file.
It would be convenient to be able to open these files by double-clicking them in explorer - can this function be added?

Hello Dave,
I will pass this suggestion to the software engineering team.
Many thanks,

Hi there,
We have a PicoLog setup, and I am trying to enable users to view recorded files simply by double-clicking in explorer. I have managed to put the "-p" parameter in the registry, so it opens the player not the recorded when you double-click a file, but it wont then load the file. You have to go File - Open then goto the directory and open the file that way. So, it is possible, but not ideal!
I hope you can suggest something for me.
Thanks,
Matthew |

Hello Matthew,
The '-P' invokes an .exe file whereas, you wish to access a function within the program from the command line and, that is not catered for in the application.
