Connection between the converters

I have a EL005 data logger and 3 EL041 converters. I am trying to use a 4 wire telephone cable to connector between 2 of the converters but the only phone wires I can get to work are the ones provided with my equipment. When I use another phone wire other than what was provided with the PICO equipment, the converter LED will not light up. Is there a reason this is so?

Hello,

You will need to ensure that the cables are wired straight through.
i.e.
pin 1 = pin 1
pin 4 = pin 4
