Just want to find out to make sure I have the connections right on my serial RS232 cable. Not getting communication through to the program, the cable I am using works fine for other devices so I think it is fine so it could be another problem other than the cable.
Can someone please tell me connections for a male to female 9pin RS232 please. |

Thanks for the prompt response, was not able to get back to thank you until now. The wiring was a little different to other devices and it is good to get the TC-08 working well now, very simple and effective little unit.
The cable I used was male to female and so the pin numbering for each end was the same.
Once I had communication it was very easy to use the program to do what we need. It will be used in a display for students, easy for them to see whats going on.
Thanks for the help and I just had to let you know that all went well from the information you were able to give. |
