we are Interest to interface TC 08 to pressure sensor
we understand that it only accept Up to +/- 60mv but we having 0-5 V or 4-20Ma sensor . kindly advise ,how we able Interface using scale down input voltage by using resistor? what i/p resistance /impeadance for TC 08?

Hi

Thank you for your post.

I would not recommend using the TC-08 for this application due to the low input voltage range. Instead a voltage of 0-5V would be ideally suited to something like the ADC-12 which has an input voltage range of 0-5V. The ADC-12 would also make it easier to scale the current using a shunt resistor.

As for using the TC-08, you would need to scale the votlage using a potential divider, and the current using a shunt resistor. The values of these resistors need to be worked out by youselves.

The TC-08 has an input impedance of 2Meg Ohm.
