|

I am trying to write a macro in Microsoft Excel but have never done this before.
What I want to do is start logging when a light gate is tripped, record data from a halls sensor to find the revs per second from the number of dips in the voltage, then stop logging when the second light gate is broken.
Does anyone have any example macros I could use as a basis, or know where I can find/download one?
Many thanks |

Hi
Thank you for your email.
You can download the example files that we provide from:
http://www.picotech.com/software.html
There should be drivers and an Excel example in the ADC-11 bundle.
Hope this helps

Hi Sarah,
I could not find anything useful on the webpage link. I have treid downloading and using the PicoScope but only seem to be able to log as fast as I want.
I would still ideally like to use an excel macro, but could not fi d any examples.
There is mention of them in the manual, and a giude, but having never used macros before is not very helpful. There is also a link on the webpage, but it does not go anywhere. |

Hi
Thank you for your post.
The Driver and Manual download on that page is what you want (at the bottom) - this includes the examples for a number of programming environments.
Try downloading that and see how you get on.
