|
|
I have problems with my ADC100, it runs but doesn't display the voltage correctly.
My setup:
Win2000Pro.
I downloaded V5.12.0 as suggested and installed
I removed the F0:2 patch from win.ini
I left UseAdapter in win.ini and still have the adapter connected
The Driver files are V3.00
Pico.sys is V2.0
When I go to help>about it says i have no adapter
My Problem:
If I load Pico Scope and run with auto scale and no signal, the scope displays a trace at -20V with about 2v of noise spikes.
If the i/p is shorted the same happens
With 0V i/p, displays -20V flat line
If I adjust the voltage with a variable PSU, the trace moves between -16V and -20V randomly.
If I load Pico Recorder V5.12.0 with a +/- 5 V range
i/p 0v it displays -4.9V
i/p 5v displays -4.4V
i/p 10v displays -4.4V
How can I solve this problem please??
Many Thanks

Hi James
Thank you for your post, I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing problems.
How have you entered the UseAdapter patch into the win.ini file?
You need to enter the following, on a new line of it's own:
[ADC100]
UseAdapter=Yes
Make sure you have entered it like this, then save the file and restart Picoscope. It should now report that it is using the adaptor. You may need to restart windows for the changes to take effect.
Hope this helps
Best Regards |
