Ive just bought the ADC 11 and picked a bosch NTC temperature sensor to do some monitoring. The sensor code is 0280 130 085.

I have noticed on some of the specifications for other sensors, rather than just showing the sensors characteristics in graph form, it also gives the equation for the characteristics. Is there any way I can gain the equation for my temperature sensor to enable me to convert the voltage into a temperature.

Cheers and thankyou for your time

Hi

Thank you for your post.

In order to get a scaling file for this sensor you will need to contact the manufacturer of the sensor.

We supply temperature scaling files for sensors used with our temperature loggers. We do not recommend using ADC-11 units for temperature logging as they have a lower resolution and a larger input voltage range.

If you wish to scale your results, you can do this, but as I say you will need to find out the scaling information from the manufacturer of the sensor.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
