|
|
| I have an ADC 100 which I have been using on an old pentium I with NT98 for a couple of years. I have just got a pentium III running XP. I have downloaded the latest software but when I try to set it all up to use the data logger the status box in converter detail says there is No adapter on LPT1 even though it is conected to LPT1 and I have had the port checked and it is fine. I canswap it back to the hold computor without any problems. Any suggestions |

Hi
Thank you for your post.
The reason that it is still reporting "No Adaptor" is that you need to insert a patch into the win.ini file for the computer to know that the adaptor is there.
The patch is as follows:
[ADC100]
UseAdapter=Yes
This should be entered into the win.ini file exactly as above and then saved. When using the software now the Help | About box should now report "Use Adaptor".
If you are still having problems then let us know.
Best Regards |
