Hi
According the specifications of this model, its range is from +/-100mV to +/-20 V, however the demo shows +/-10mV to +/- 20 V, What is the real range?
Does the signal generator use the same ground as the Osciclloscope?
Do they share any hardware resorce?
Thanks |

Hi
Thank you for your post.
The PS3205's smallest voltage range is ±100mV. This equates to 10mV per division.
The signal generator does share the same ground as the oscilloscope, and only shares hardware resources in as much as the signal comes from the external trigger connection, and therefore you cannot use the external trigger mode. Other than this it functions independantly from the oscilloscope.
Hope this helps
