tc08 with laptop, how to connect to a ground point...

I've red the topic: TC08 monitoring on laptop

I have a texas instruments extensa 670 cdt and a tc08 datalogger, how to connect the tc08 to a ground point? how is it possible to have a secure connection to a ground point? i have to monitor a temperature for about 50minutes....and a cable puttet on the d9 is not a safe connection....

Hi,

Thank you for your question. Unfortuantely, you al ready have the solution that we suggest and you have discounted it. You need to find some way of either grounding the TC-08 or the Laptop.
