I run a small business using two 8ft x 12ft freezers i would like to know if you could supply me with details of equipment needed to
1. monitor and record temperature information
2. raise an alarm via text message if temp raises outside of defrost mode. |

Hi
Thank you for your post.
For your requirements I would recommend the Enviromon system. This comprises of a data logger EL005 unit, and up to 10 converters per unit. I would advise either using the EL001 converter or the EL041 converter.
The EL001 is a triple channel temperature converter, and the EL041 is a 4 channel thermocouple converter. These can then be connected to the logger which will take and store samples from them. The logger can either be connected to a computer or it can run remotely and store up to 250,000 samples before they need to be downloaded. It can also be connected via a GSM modem.
The GSM modem which needs to be sourced from elsewhere, will enable you to send text messages should an alarm be triggered. Alarms are set in the software and can have hold-off periods.
More information on the Enviromon system is available from:

Hope this helps
Best Regards |
