Here is your monthly Test and Measurement update from Pico Technology.

1.  PicoScope 3000 Series PC oscilloscopes

Since the launch of our new range of USB connected PC oscilloscopes in July we have been overwhelmed by demand. We would like to offer our sincere apologies to customers who have had to wait for several weeks for delivery.

Currently we expect to ship all orders that were placed before the 1st October by the end of the month. Lead times for newly placed orders are currently running at between four and eight weeks and we expect it will be a few more months before these popular oscilloscopes are available from stock.

2.  Price Changes

From the 1st December 2004 a number of products will increase slightly in price. We are giving advanced warning to allow customers to purchase at the lower prices.

3.  New Science Experiment — Measuring Temperature in Cars

Our latest science experiment is aimed at students aged 7 to 13. It uses a TC-08 thermocouple data logger to study how hot the interior of cars get and whether the paint colour has an effect.

4.  Automotive Training Courses

There are still a few places left for our automotive training courses in Glasgow on the 19th and 20th October. Our London based courses in December are however fully booked.

5.  Website Survey

This month we are asking for some feedback from users of our website.

As soon as we release new software, it is made available for FREE download from our website. To check which version you are using, start the software (PicoScope, PicoLog or EnviroMon) and select HELP | ABOUT.
