Here is your monthly Test and Measurement update from Pico Technology.

1.  New Product — USB TC-08 Thermocouple Data Logger

We are pleased to announce the release of a new version of our popular TC-08 Thermocouple Data Logger. Like the original serial port unit, the new unit measures a wide range of temperatures (-270 to +1820°C) from up to eight thermocouples of any type.

The new unit is connected and powered from the USB port of any modern computer, if more than eight channels are required then multiple units can be used on the same PC. The new TC-08 offers several advantages over the old:

  • Faster — up to 10 readings per second
  • Improved accuracy
  • Improved resolution
  • Increased common mode voltage

In addition to temperature measurement, individual channels can be configured to measure voltage with a 20 bit resolution over a -70mV to +70mV range.

2.  PicoScope 3206 PC Oscilloscope Nominated as
“Product of the Year”

The PicoScope 3206 PC Oscilloscope has been nominated as “Product of the Year” in the 2004 European Electronics Industry Awards.
