3. New Feature — Autosetup Button in PicoScope
We have added an autosetup button to the toolbar of our PicoScope software application (release 5.12.6) for PC Oscilloscopes. Pressing this button sets up the timebase, channels and trigger configuration to display any signals that the software finds on the oscilloscope's inputs. The new feature supports all our converter products.

4. New Automotive Tutorial
We have added a new article, “Electronic Fuel Injection (Part 1)”, to the series of automotive tutorials on our website. This tutorial looks at the Electronic Fuel Injection system, with particular focus upon the sensors and actuators, and their resultant inputs and outputs to and from the vehicle's ECU. The tutorial looks at the multi-point injection system, leaving single-point injection to be covered in a later tutorial.

6. Automotive Training
29th to 30th June 2005 — Engine Management Diagnostics using PicoScope — Solihull, UK
This month Pico will be holding another two-day training course for users of our Automotive Diagnostic Kits.
On the first day you will learn the basic working principles of Engine Management systems, testing components and system diagnostics using oscilloscopes. The day will be split between theory and practical demonstrations in a workshop using the Pico Automotive Diagnostic Kit. On the second day you will continue to explore practical examples of diagnostic work with the oscilloscope. You will also build your understanding of electrical / mechanical faults and the engineering significance of voltage signals.
By the end of the course you will be certified by Pico Technology to use the Pico Automotive Diagnostics Kit and PicoScope oscilloscope software specifically for advanced automotive diagnostic applications. You will then possess the knowledge to run diagnostics on most of the common automotive sensors.
