CartEL044 Modem Adaptor
If you wish to monitor temperatures at a remote site, it is possible to access the logger via a modem. The computer dials up the modem each time the user starts the program.
EnviroMon will work with any modem (telephone, radio or GSM) that supports Hayes-compatible AT command codes. We recommend operation at 9600 baud. You will need two modems: one connects directly to the computer, and the other connects to the logger via an EL044 modem adaptor. The logger modem must be connected to a telephone line that can accept direct–dialled incoming calls (ie not an exchange line).
Note: In order to comply with current legislation, use only radio modems which comply with the RTTE directive.
