Pico Technology was established in 1991 and soon became a leader in the field of PC Oscilloscopes (PCOs) and data loggers.

Warranty

All Pico products are manufactured to the highest standards under a ISO9001 registered quality scheme and carry either a two–year or five–year return to manufacturer warranty (see individual product specifications). Bought in products and accessories carry a one–year warranty or the manufacturer’s warranty, whichever is greater.

Compliance

All Pico products are CE marked to comply with the relevant European directives.

Our products (oscilloscopes and data loggers) fall into category 9 of the European “Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment” (WEEE) directive. Our Producer Registration Number is WEE/FE0053TQ.

Our products, like those of all test equipment manufacturers, are currently exempt from “The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2004” (RoHS) directive. Although our older products are not fully RoHS compliant, many elements of them do comply with the RoHS requirements, and we will continue to work towards the RoHS directive by removing lead from our products wherever possible.

Software Licence

The demonstration versions of PicoScope, PicoLog and EnviroMon for Windows may be copied and used freely.

When you purchase either PicoScope, PicoLog or EnviroMon software or a Pico Technology analog to digital converter, Pico Technology grants a licence for one person to use the software at any time.

The current user may install the software on multiple computers and may run multiple copies of the software, but may not permit the use of the software by other persons at the same time.

The current user may download free software updates from the Pico Technology website.

Guarantee

No two applications are the same, so Pico cannot guarantee that its equipment or software is suitable for a given application. It is therefore the user’s responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for the user’s application.

It is essential that you, the user, should verify that the software and product are functioning to your requirements before relying on them or the data that they generate.

No software is ever error–free, but if you are unsatisfied with the performance of this software, please contact our technical support staff. If we believe that there is a problem with the software, we will try to fix the problem within a reasonable timescale.

Liability

Pico Technology Limited does not accept responsibility for any loss or injury caused by the use of Pico Technology equipment or software. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for the user’s application.
